Perhaps you have children, perhaps you spend time with them, or perhaps \u2014 as happened to me \u2014 you feel it\u2019s been a long time since you\u2019ve played in this way: without pressure, and from the body. Here, I share games for children of all ages, including yours.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This text doesn\u2019t offer games or specific proposals. It offers something simpler and, at times, more difficult: permission. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An important note: this is not a test. There is no judgment. Zero control.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Playing is not about doing things right or learning something new. It\u2019s about trying, making mistakes, laughing, and thinking a little less. It\u2019s about letting the body go first and set the rhythm.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When children play, they are not chasing results. They move, stop, get bored, laugh, and begin again without overthinking. The body responds before the mind and doesn\u2019t need explanations.  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sometimes it responds with laughter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sometimes with movement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sometimes with silence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>All of that is information too \u2014 believe me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">A way of being<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Playing like a child has less to do with what is done and more with how one is. With moving without a goal, looking around with curiosity, sitting on the floor, or changing the usual rhythm of the day. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daily contact with young children has given me something I didn\u2019t expect.<br\/>Sitting on the floor with them, playing with dolls, running, building wooden towers, creating shapes with blocks, stringing bead necklaces, decorating little boxes, sewing what breaks, or playing memory games has awakened in me a childlike part that may have been waiting for its moment.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this unhurried sharing, I feel that I too recover time, perspective, and the richness of seeing the world through a child\u2019s eyes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">And something similar happens in sessions<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In sessions, something very similar to play takes place. Sometimes we don\u2019t do anything special at all.<br\/>It might be sitting on the floor, moving a little, playing with an object, or simply flowing and seeing what emerges.<br\/><br\/> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is nowhere to get to and nothing specific that needs to happen. We observe what unfolds when there\u2019s no hurry, when nothing has to be done right, and when we allow ourselves to stop. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Very often, just like in play, it\u2019s in these simple moments that clarity appears \u2014 a sensation, an emotion, an image, or simply a deep rest.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And all of that is fine.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">The smile<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over time, I\u2019ve noticed something very simple: when someone smiles, things often work out better.<br\/>Not because they do them better, but because they\u2019re more at ease, more comfortable, and less tense.<br\/><br\/> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I see this often with children and in sessions too. When the body relaxes and a spontaneous smile appears \u2014 even a small one \u2014 something shifts. Things flow a little more easily.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s no need to look for it or force it. The same happens if boredom appears or if you don\u2019t feel like doing anything at all. The best option, then, is to stop.<br\/>Listening to that limit is also part of the game, and part of perception.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This way of playing doesn\u2019t aim to develop skills or train abilities.
